Two of our beautiful Sister Missionaries serving in the Port Harcourt Mission with President & Sister Stone. We love our Sister Missionaries the best. Posted by Picasa

This is what an Elder looks like after doing a face plant off his bike trying to avoid an okata (motorcycle). What you can't see are his 3 broken teeth. These elders are tough. As President Snow says West Africa is not for the faint of heart. Posted by Picasa

Rain? What rain? Just another day of proselyting in Nigeria. Posted by Picasa

No reason to waste the water...let's have a bath! Posted by Picasa

For anyone who says this is not a day of miracles just show them a picture of the Aba Nigeria temple. This building in this place is a modern day miracle. Posted by Picasa

A missionary going to the Aba Nigeria temple for the first time. What a great blessing this is for the Nigerian saints. Posted by Picasa

Here are some familiar missionaries, President & Sister Stone with some of their new missionaries. I think you can figure out which ones are which. We are so grateful to Linda for sharing with us Elder & Sister Porter's wonderful pictures of Nigeria Posted by Picasa

Nigerian misssionaries with their investigators. Posted by Picasa

Welcoming an investigator into the waters of baptism. McKay...will this be you in a few years? Posted by Picasa

I baptize you... Posted by Picasa

This is what was going on in the baptismal font before (and after) the baptism. Man doing laundry. Posted by Picasa

Do you think you could get your clothes clean on this rock? Posted by Picasa

Elder & Sister Porter visit a school in Nigeria. Don't the children look beautiful in their uniforms? Posted by Picasa

Here are the wonderful teachers who probably earn around $50 a month if they are lucky enough to get paid. Posted by Picasa

Look at the excitement that one new soccer ball can bring Posted by Picasa

The whole school is grateful for the new soccer ball. Thank you Elder & Sister Porter Posted by Picasa

Welcome to our classrooms Posted by Picasa

Gym class. Notice the feet. Imagine trying to get those socks clean. Now that would make this Grandma crazy! Posted by Picasa

Exercising under the trees Posted by Picasa

The school bus. A riddle for you...how many people can you get on a motorcycle? Apparently 7! Posted by Picasa

Chase...this is a common animal that Grandma and Grandpa see in West Africa, unfortunately it is the domesticated kind. These are the only kind of cattle we have seen here. They aren't like my favorite cuddly "swiss cows" Posted by Picasa

This cow is carrying the owners belongings that he takes with him as he moves the cattle from place to place. These are fairly plump cows, some that we have seen are shockingly skinny. Posted by Picasa

The horns make you think twice about bothering this herd. Posted by Picasa

Here is our "cattleman" with his herd. Posted by Picasa

Where is the cattle crossing sign when you need one? Posted by Picasa
