Here are the wonderful teachers who probably earn around $50 a month if they are lucky enough to get paid. Posted by Picasa

Look at the excitement that one new soccer ball can bring Posted by Picasa

The whole school is grateful for the new soccer ball. Thank you Elder & Sister Porter Posted by Picasa

Welcome to our classrooms Posted by Picasa

Gym class. Notice the feet. Imagine trying to get those socks clean. Now that would make this Grandma crazy! Posted by Picasa

Exercising under the trees Posted by Picasa

The school bus. A riddle for you...how many people can you get on a motorcycle? Apparently 7! Posted by Picasa

Chase...this is a common animal that Grandma and Grandpa see in West Africa, unfortunately it is the domesticated kind. These are the only kind of cattle we have seen here. They aren't like my favorite cuddly "swiss cows" Posted by Picasa

This cow is carrying the owners belongings that he takes with him as he moves the cattle from place to place. These are fairly plump cows, some that we have seen are shockingly skinny. Posted by Picasa

The horns make you think twice about bothering this herd. Posted by Picasa

Here is our "cattleman" with his herd. Posted by Picasa

Where is the cattle crossing sign when you need one? Posted by Picasa

Now that's a tree! Posted by Picasa

Elder Porter taking a look at the size and vastness that is Nigeria. Although they can't be seen, there are villages throughout that landscape. Posted by Picasa

A view of the jungle canopy from the road. The palm you see in the foreground is where they get the palm nuts to make palm oil Posted by Picasa

The Nigerian countryside with it's lush growth Posted by Picasa

Nigeria is greeen, green, green. Posted by Picasa

Would this scene draw you into the Decent Restaurant? You be the judge! Posted by Picasa

Not "the place to be" only "A place to be" Posted by Picasa

Only the Holy Ghost would give you enough protection to be willing to be treated in this hospital. Don't get sick in Nigeria! Posted by Picasa

Now this massage will take away ALL your cares and troubles even poverty! Posted by Picasa

Chase, this one's for you. Technically it isn't an African animal, but these lizards are everywhere we go. You see them sunning themselves on sidewalks or walls, or see them scurrying up the sides of buildings. And they are fast little buggers. You'd have a dickens of a time trying to catch one. Posted by Picasa

This little guy isn't as colorful but is just as plentiful Posted by Picasa

These are a very common sight in Ghana and Nigeria. They also can jump up stairs and can be quite startling if you don't see them coming. But they won't hurt you. They just eat bugs Posted by Picasa

Getting comfort. Can you see that her braids are merely hair extensions? Her real hair is very short and cut close to her head to help her keep cool. Posted by Picasa
